QUIET AS IT’S KEPT
is Science Fiction television series that reflects on the hypothetical state of Black America in the future. “QAIK” exists in the space between Realism and Science Fiction, reflecting the sometimes surreal nature of being Black or “other” in America. The various protagonists whose lives all mysteriously converge with middle-school teacher Julien Hart and self-taught scientist, Baraka Hawkins, are confronted with reality-bending discoveries about their origin and past.
